Lightive

Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how Lightive handles your account, health, conversation, report and subscription data, and how you can control that data.

Last updated: August 5, 2026

In brief: Lightive processes information only when needed for features you choose to use. Apple Health data is sensitive and is read only after system permission. We do not sell personal information, use health data for targeted advertising, or use HealthKit data to determine eligibility for credit, insurance or employment.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to the Lightive iOS app, the Lightive website, and the services supporting accounts, health synchronization, AI health insights, report processing, reminders and subscriptions.

Lightive organizes health information and provides general wellness guidance. It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. Third-party products and websites are governed by their own privacy rules.

2. Information we process

Account and sign-inPhone number, country or region code and SMS verification result. When you use Sign in with Apple, we receive the Apple user identifier and any name or email address you choose to share.
Apple Health dataHealth and fitness categories you permit on the system authorization screen, such as activity, sleep, heart rate, HRV, body measurements, nutrition, workouts and reproductive health. The actual scope follows your system permissions.
Conversations and recordsQuestions, diet, weight and exercise check-ins, reminders, feedback and context needed to continue a conversation.
Images, audio and filesImages, voice recordings, health reports and other attachments you choose to provide, together with file information required for upload, recognition and analysis.
Subscription and transactionsApp Store product, transaction and original transaction identifiers, subscription status and expiration. Apple processes payment-card details; Lightive does not receive full card data.
Device and operationsInstallation device identifier, device model, OS and app versions, language, time zone, network status, request time, IP address, errors and necessary operational logs.
Notifications and remindersPush token, device language and time zone, reminder content and delivery status, only when you enable these features.

You may decline optional information, but the related feature may not work. For example, declining Apple Health access does not prevent sign-in, but it limits health synchronization and insights based on that data.

3. How we use information

4. Apple Health and sensitive information

Lightive reads health data through Apple HealthKit and does not write data to Apple Health. Access is not enabled by default. You can change or revoke permissions in the Health app or iPhone Settings at any time.

Health data, health reports and conversations that reveal health conditions are sensitive. Lightive uses them only for health display, synchronization, analysis and AI features you request. We do not sell this information, use it for targeted advertising or provide it to data brokers.

Revoking permission does not automatically remove data already synchronized to Lightive. You can delete your account in the app or request deletion through the email address below.

5. How AI features process data

Before any AI feature is used for the first time, Lightive provides an in-app disclosure and asks for your express permission. We send data to Xiaomi MiMo Open Platform only after you choose Allow. You may choose Not Now; declining does not prevent you from viewing non-AI health data already synchronized to Lightive.

Depending on the feature you request, data sent may include conversation text and context, your health profile, Apple Health data you authorized, audio recordings, food images you select, health reports you upload, and the IP address and network information needed to establish the connection. Each feature sends only the categories needed for that processing—for example, speech transcription sends the recording and image analysis sends the selected image.

Xiaomi MiMo Open Platform is the third-party AI provider used for text generation, image understanding and speech recognition. Its processing is also governed by the MiMo Privacy Policy. That policy describes API processing of submitted text, audio, video, images and network information, and states that submitted content is not used for model training or other purposes.

You can withdraw permission at any time under Profile → AI Data Sharing in the app. After withdrawal, Lightive stops initiating new AI requests to Xiaomi MiMo Open Platform; AI conversations, speech transcription, image/report analysis and AI health insights remain unavailable until you allow again. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your circumstances. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for diagnosis, medication or emergency decisions.

6. Sharing and third-party services

Lightive does not sell personal information. We may use the following services on a minimum-necessary basis:

Apple Inc.HealthKit, Sign in with Apple, App Store subscriptions, the system photo picker and Apple Push Notification service. Apple's processing is governed by its Privacy Policy.
SMS and cloud infrastructureLogin codes, object storage, databases, networking and security. These services may process phone numbers, delivery status, uploaded files and necessary technical information.
Xiaomi MiMo Open PlatformAfter your express permission, provides AI health insights, conversations, food-image analysis, speech transcription and report analysis, processing the conversation text, health profile, Apple Health data, recording, image or report content required by the feature, plus the IP address and network information needed to establish the connection. See the MiMo Privacy Policy.
Legal and regulatory requestsNecessary information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, resolve disputes or respond to lawful enforcement requests.

The current version does not integrate third-party advertising or cross-app behavioral tracking SDKs. If third-party processing changes materially, we will update this Policy and request consent where applicable.

7. Storage and retention

Lightive's core service data is currently stored primarily in the People's Republic of China. We retain data for the shortest period reasonably needed for its purpose: account, health and content data while your account remains active; security logs for troubleshooting and security needs; and longer retention where required by law or dispute resolution.

After account deletion, we delete or de-identify data linked to you. Information required for legal retention, transaction settlement, fraud prevention or backup rotation may remain in restricted systems for a reasonable period.

If a future feature requires cross-border transfer of personal information, we will provide additional notice and use consent or another lawful mechanism where required.

8. Security

We use HTTPS encryption in transit, access control, least privilege, credential protection, logging and backups. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. If an incident may materially affect your rights, we will respond and notify as required by applicable law.

9. Your rights and choices

We may verify your identity before completing a request. We generally respond within 15 business days unless the law provides otherwise or the request is complex.

10. Children

If you are below the age at which you may independently consent under local law, use Lightive only after a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to this Policy. If we learn that a child's information was processed without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

11. Policy updates

We may update this Policy as features, data practices or laws change. We will provide notice of material changes through the app, website or another reasonable channel. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
