Lightive

Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Lightive health-information, AI, report-processing and subscription services.

Last updated: July 15, 2026

Important: Lightive is a health-information and general wellness tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions or emergency medical services. AI content may be inaccurate and is not a substitute for a clinician or other qualified professional.

1. Accepting these Terms

By downloading, accessing or using Lightive, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you are below the age at which you may independently consent under local law, a parent or guardian must review and accept these Terms. You must have legal capacity to enter into these Terms and provide information that is accurate and lawful.

2. What Lightive provides

Depending on the features and permissions you choose, Lightive may:

Features may vary by device, operating system, region, permission, subscription status and service availability.

3. Health and medical disclaimer

If you experience chest pain, difficulty breathing, altered consciousness, a severe allergic reaction, signs of stroke or another emergency, contact local emergency services immediately. Do not wait for a Lightive response.

4. Accounts and security

Protect your phone, Apple ID, SMS verification codes and session. Do not provide verification codes to others or allow someone to impersonate you. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized use, lose a device or encounter another security issue.

You are responsible for content and actions submitted through your account. We may restrict abnormal sign-in, automated abuse, attacks or clear violations of these Terms.

5. Apple Health data

Lightive reads Apple Health data only after system permission. You can change access at any time. Data from different sources may overlap, arrive late or be incomplete. We work to organize it, but cannot guarantee an exact match with Apple Health or a medical device.

Do not use Lightive for regulated clinical decisions, remote monitoring or another use that requires medical-device authorization.

6. AI features

Lightive uses artificial intelligence to generate responses, summaries, guidance and structured results. Output is probabilistic: the same input may produce different results, and output may contain errors, omissions or outdated information. Use original data, judgment and professional advice when making decisions.

Do not submit content you have no right to process, another person's sensitive information, passwords, payment credentials or illegal material. See the Privacy Policy for AI data handling.

7. Content you provide

You retain lawful rights in content you upload. You permit Lightive to process that content only as necessary to store, parse, display, synchronize and analyze it for you. This permission ends when content or your account is deleted, subject to legal retention and reasonable backup rotation.

You confirm that uploaded content is lawful and does not infringe another person's rights. Obtain permission before uploading a report or image containing someone else's information.

8. Premium auto-renewing subscriptions

Subscription rules

  • Lightive offers monthly and annual auto-renewing options. Products, periods and prices are those displayed by the App Store at purchase;
  • Payment is charged by Apple to your Apple ID account when you confirm purchase;
  • The subscription renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends;
  • Apple charges renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends at the price then displayed;
  • You can manage or cancel in Apple ID subscription settings. Cancellation generally takes effect after the paid period ends;
  • Apple handles refunds under App Store rules. Lightive cannot directly refund charges collected by Apple; and
  • After reinstalling or changing devices, use Restore Purchases to restore eligible access.

Subscriptions are also governed by Apple's purchasing rules and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

9. Acceptable use

You must not:

10. Intellectual property

Lightive software, interface, branding, documentation and technology are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for a personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable right to use the service, no rights are transferred. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse engineer or create derivative products without permission, except where law expressly permits.

11. Changes and availability

We may adjust features for product, security, compliance or technical reasons. Maintenance, networks, third-party services, device compatibility or events beyond reasonable control may cause interruption. We will try to provide reasonable notice of changes that materially affect paid service.

12. Account deletion and termination

You can delete your account in app settings. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; cancel separately in Apple ID subscription settings. See the Privacy Policy for data handling.

We may restrict or terminate access for a serious violation, a threat to service security or where required by law, with notice where reasonably practical.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lightive is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that health data, AI content, synchronization or third-party services will always be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.

We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Applicable law controls liability for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, personal injury and mandatory consumer protections. These Terms do not limit statutory consumer rights.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are subject to mandatory consumer protections where you live and other laws of competent jurisdiction. Contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute. If unresolved, either party may use a court or consumer-dispute body with lawful jurisdiction.

15. Apple terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Lightive, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for maintaining or supporting Lightive. An app obtained through the App Store remains subject to Apple's Standard EULA and applicable App Store rules.
